About the role

As SEO Manager, you'll work across teams to build and deliver a scalable organic growth strategy. You will manage strategy, execution, and reporting, mentor junior team members or agencies, influence cross- functional partners, and align SEO with global business objectives. Your goal: boost search rankings, organic traffic, and revenue-attributed growth.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead SEO strategy across on-page, off-page, technical, local/hyperlocal, and international domains
  • Conduct keyword research and intent analysis to guide content planning
  • Perform site audits and resolve crawl, indexing, page-speed, and Core Web Vitals issues
  • Define and report OKRs/KPIs (traffic, rankings, conversions, organic revenue)
  • Manage link-building, outreach, and digital PR campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (product, growth, content, engineering, paid media)
  • Mentor SEO team members, coordinate vendors or agencies
  • Present performance and strategy updates to senior leadership
  • Hard skills we are looking for

    • 5+ years in SEO, with at least 2+ years in team, agency, or cross-functional leadership
    • Expertise in GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and dashboard tools
    • Technical SEO mastery: HTML/CSS, schema markup, hreflang, crawl/index optimization, site architecture
    • Advanced keyword modeling, A/B testing, optimization of CTR and conversion metrics
    • Strong ability in data analysis and dashboard building using Looker Studio/Data Studio, Excel, and attribution tracking
    • Comfortable with CMS platforms and simple scripting or automation for scaling SEO tasks

    • Excellent communicator with ability to align with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
    • Strong strategic planner and project manager in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
    • Proactive troubleshooter, adaptable to algorithm shifts and search format changes (AI/LLM/SGE)
    • High ownership mindset, data-driven yet intuitive, with iterative testing and attention to detail
    • Leadership presence: mentoring, stakeholder empathy, conflict resolution, and influencing cross-functional teams
