Sales Person - NABL & Services (SM-NABL) Job Description
MARUTI Weightech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and technically proficient Sales Manager to drive sales of our NABL Calibration Services, re-calibration contracts, and specialized technical services. This role is crucial for growing recurring revenue and leveraging our NABL accreditation.
1. Required Qualifications· Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field (e.g., Instrumentation, Metrology).
· Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in technical sales, B2B service contracts, or sales specific to calibration, quality assurance, or metrology services.
2. Core ResponsibilitiesA. NABL Sales & Revenue Generation· Service Expansion: Actively market and sell the full range of NABL-accredited services (Weights, Balances, Systems) to new clients, utilizing the accreditation as the core competitive advantage.
· Recurring Revenue Management: Directly manage the sales process for re-calibration reminders and
renewals, working closely with the Customer Care Lead to convert expiration reminders into confirmed Purchase Orders (POs).
· Quotation & Bidding: Generate formal quotations and manage the bidding process for large-scale, annual NABL service contracts.
· On-Site Coordination: Act as the primary commercial contact for on-site calibration services, managing scheduling logistics, pricing, and client communication before and after the Calibration Lab executes the service.
B. Lead Management & Handoff· Lead Qualification: Receive and qualify leads specifically interested in calibration and service contracts (TKT-IDs or service inquiries) from the "Leads & Sales Funnel" WhatsApp Group.
· Commercialization (Step 1): Verify client Purchase Orders (POs) for NABL Services and ensure all required documentation is complete before formally handing the service order off to the Calibration
Lab Manager (the service equivalent of the MWO).
C. Technical Liaison· Client Consulting: Educate potential clients on NABL compliance, measurement uncertainty, and the technical benefits of MARUTI's certification scope.
· Lab Communication: Serve as the primary non-technical interface between the customer and the Calibration
Lab Manager to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into lab instructions and vice-versa.
D. Reporting & Oversight· Daily Activity Report: Provide a daily report detailing quotes sent, follow-up status, and confirmed service contract POs to the MD/GM.
· Monthly Service Forecast: Prepare a monthly forecast for service revenue based on pending renewals and new business opportunities.
· KPIs: Accountable for the overall conversion rate of NABL leads to confirmed service POs and the retention rate of annual service contracts.
Sales Manager - Balances & Market Outreach (SM-B) Job DescriptionMARUTI Weightech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Sales Manager to focus on driving revenue from the sale of Weighing Balances and Electronic Scales. This role will integrate digital lead follow-up with traditional sales and offline marketing strategies.
1. Required Qualifications· Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant technical field.
· Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in B2B product sales, channel management, or industrial equipment sales, with a strong emphasis on achieving aggressive revenue targets.
2. Core ResponsibilitiesA. Product Sales & Revenue Generation· Lead Qualification & Follow-up: Receive and verify all incoming digital leads (from the Digital Marketing Agency) and leads from the Odhav Showroom, ensuring they are qualified for Balance product sales before initiating the quotation process.
· Direct Sales Cycle: Manage the entire sales cycle for the Balance and Scale product line, from initial inquiry and technical specification matching to quotation, negotiation, and final client commitment.
· Commercialization (Step 1): Ensure all finalized client Purchase Orders (POs) are verified for commercial terms before formally handing the order off to the Production Manager -
Balances (PM-B) to create the MWO.
B. Market Outreach & Promotion· Offline Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute strategic offline marketing and promotional
activities, including coordinating participation in relevant industry trade shows, conducting direct mail campaigns, and organizing technical workshops.
· Channel Development & Dealer
Collaboration: Identify, approach, and develop new
distribution channels and actively seek collaboration with dealers, managing those relationships to expand market reach and sales for Balances and Scales.
· Product Promotion: Work closely with the MD/GM to develop and deploy effective sales materials that highlight the technical advantages and quality of MARUTI Balances.
C. Cross-Departmental Collaboration· Production Alignment: Maintain clear communication with the PM-B to provide realistic sales forecasts, manage client expectations on delivery timelines, and report critical market feedback on product features.
· Pricing Strategy: Work with the MD/GM and Accounts to manage competitive pricing strategies and discount authorizations.
· Customer Care Handoff: Ensure a smooth transition of the client relationship to the Customer Care Lead upon successful dispatch and invoice completion.
D. Reporting & Oversight· Daily Sales Report: Provide a concise Daily Sales Report (DSR) to the MD/GM, detailing lead status, quotes issued, sales closed (POs received), and anticipated closures for the coming week.
· Quarterly Market Report: Present a quarterly analysis to the MD/GM on market trends, competitor activity, and the effectiveness of offline marketing investments.
· KPIs: Accountable for the volume of POs received for Balances, conversion rates from digital leads, and total product sales revenue.
