The IML Label Printing Incharge is responsible for overseeing the entire in-mold label printing process. This includes managing the printing equipment, maintaining print quality, ensuring timely production, coordinating with the design and production teams, and implementing continuous improvement practices to optimize efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Printing Operations Management Oversee daily IML label printing operations. Operate and monitor printing machines (e.g., offset, flexographic, or digital IML printers). Ensure compliance with job specifications and production schedules. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to printing machinery or quality. 2. Quality Control Monitor label quality to ensure print registration, color accuracy, adhesion, and finishing meet standards. Conduct regular inspections and testing of printed materials. Coordinate with the QA/QC department for product approvals and audits. 3. Team Leadership Supervise and train a team of printing operators and assistants. Allocate manpower according to production needs. Maintain discipline, safety, and workflow efficiency on the shop floor. 4. Maintenance & Inventory Schedule preventive maintenance and service of printing equipment. Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades. Manage inventory of printing materials (inks, films, plates, etc.). 5. Documentation & Reporting Maintain records of production output, downtime, rejects, and machine efficiency (OEE). Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Ensure traceability and compliance with internal and client documentation standards.
