Production Manager - Weights (PM-W) Job Description
MARUTI Weightech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly specialized Production Manager to oversee the entire manufacturing cycle of Calibration Weights. The primary focus of this role is maintaining the extreme precision and surface finish required for OIML and NABL standards.
1. Required Qualifications
Education: Minimum B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) in Mechanical or Instrumentation, or a related Science Graduate with extensive industrial experience.
Experience: Proven, relevant experience in precision manufacturing, metal finishing, quality control, and team management is essential.
2. Core Responsibilities
A. Production & Workflow Management
MWO Creation & Execution: Take verified Purchase Orders (PO) from the Sales Manager and create the internal Manufacturing Work Order (MWO), initiating the production cycle for Weights.
Production Planning: Develop, implement, and manage the daily manufacturing schedule, resource allocation, and job prioritization for the Weights unit to meet MWO deadlines efficiently.
Inventory & Stock Management (Raw & Finished Goods): Manage all raw material and finished stock preparation, handling, storage, and reconciliation for the Weights product line.
Spare Parts Procurement Planning: Assess, forecast, and raise requirements for spare parts and raw materials used exclusively in Weights manufacturing to the Procurement Department to ensure zero disruption in production flow.
B. Quality Assurance & Specialized Focus
Specialized Focus (Weights): Direct and enforce specialized focus on the machining, finishing, polishing, and cleaning processes of weights to meet tight tolerance requirements.
In-Process Quality (QC/QA) Oversight: Directly oversee the work of the Supervision & QC Head during manufacturing to ensure every product meets technical drawings and OIML/NABL material specifications.
Final Material Release: Be solely accountable for the manufacturing quality and the final release of materials (with an attached QC Pass Slip) to the Calibration Lab.
C. Calibration Handoff & Technical Support
Calibration Documentation Handoff: Ensure the completed Calibration Sheet/QC Pass Slip with all necessary dimensional, material, and pre-test data is immediately handed off to the Calibration Department for final certification issuance.
Technical Customer Support: Act as the second-level technical escalation point for the Customer Care Lead, handling complex queries related to Weights specifications, failure analysis, or NABL procedure clarity.
Accounts Coordination: Provide necessary production status updates and completion forecasts to the Accounts team for timely invoice and E-way Bill generation.
D. Reporting & Compliance
Daily Production Report: Provide a concise Daily Production Report (DPR) to the MD/GM, detailing MWO progress, bottleneck identification, and resource utilization.
Quarterly Stock Report: Compile and present a detailed Quarterly Stock Report to the MD/GM, covering raw material inventory, finished goods stock, and reconciliation data.
Facility Management: Ensure the dedicated Weights manufacturing area maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and ISO/NABL protocols.
Production Manager - Balances (PM-B) Job Description
MARUTI Weightech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly specialized Production Manager to oversee the entire assembly and testing process of Weighing
Balances and Electronic Scales. The primary focus of this role is ensuring assembly consistency, electronic functionality, and rigorous pre-calibration testing.
1. Required Qualifications· Education: Minimum B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) in Instrumentation or Mechanical, or a related Science Graduate with extensive industrial experience.
· Experience: Proven, relevant experience in electronic assembly, instrument testing, quality control, and team management is essential.
2. Core ResponsibilitiesA. Production & Workflow Management· MWO Creation & Execution: Take verified Purchase Orders (PO) from the Sales Manager and create

components, PCBs) and finished goods stock preparation, handling, storage, and reconciliation for the Balances product line.
· Spare Parts Procurement Planning: Assess, forecast, and raise requirements for spare parts (load cells, indicators, electronic components) used in Balances assembly/repair to the Procurement Department to ensure stock availability.
B. Quality Assurance & Specialized Focus· Specialized Focus (Balances): Direct and enforce specialization on assembly consistency, wiring, and
rigorous electronic system testing.
· Pre-Calibration Protocols: Manage rigorous Pre-Calibration Testing protocols (including linearity, repeatability, and extended burn-in checks) using standard weights before the items are formally transferred to the NABL Lab.
· In-Process Quality (QC/QA) Oversight: Directly oversee the work of the Supervision & QC Head during assembly and testing to ensure all electronic and mechanical functionality criteria are met.
· Final Material Release: Be solely accountable for the assembly quality and the final release of
materials (with an attached QC Pass Slip) to the Calibration Lab.
