As part of our growth in the sports, fitness and wellness segment, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to scale the category.


Position Overview

Sales Manager – Sports, Wellness & Fitness Products

must have prior experience working with premium sports, fitness, or wellness brands


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Drive revenue through retail, dealer distribution, online marketplaces, B2B clients, gyms, sports clubs, physiotherapy chains, hospitals, and wellness centers.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and growth verticals.


2. Market Expansion & Business Development

  • Build partnerships with gyms, fitness studios, rehabilitation centers, sports academies, hotels, wellness chains, and corporates.
  • Conduct continuous market research and competitor analysis to suggest strategic business decisions.


3. Dealer & Distribution Network Management

  • Must have worked previously in dealer and distribution-led business models.

  • Build, manage, and strengthen dealer and distributor networks across multiple cities.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, sales hygiene, inventory discipline, and visual merchandising standards.


4. Distribution Expansion & Width Growth

  • Responsible for incremental width of distribution

    , including onboarding new distributors, new dealers, and expanding into new geographies.
  • Identify untapped markets and drive channel penetration.


5. Key Account Management

  • Maintain and grow relationships with top-performing partners.
  • Ensure timely stock replenishment, excellent brand placement, and sales staff training across partner outlets.


6. MIS Support, Information Flow & Business Intelligence

  • Provide accurate and timely MIS reports, dashboards, forecasts, and performance insights.
  • Ensure smooth information flow across teams, enabling leadership to take informed decisions.
  • Deliver business intelligence on competition, pricing trends, and market opportunities.


7. Outbound Sales Mechanisms & Lead Generation

  • Develop structured outbound sales processes such as partner acquisition funnels, digital lead-generation programs, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Coordinate fitness events, exhibitions, brand activations, demos, and wellness community engagements.


8. Receivables & Credit Management

  • Responsible for monitoring outstanding payments and ensuring timely collections.
  • Maintain strict credit discipline within the dealer and distributor ecosystem.


9. Product Knowledge & Promotion

  • Maintain deep product understanding of premium fitness, wellness, and smart health devices such as massage guns, fitness trackers, smart diagnostic tools, and recovery equipment.
  • Support marketing teams with product launches, events, and retail activations.


10. High-Performance Sales Mindset

  • Must be a

Required Skills & Qualifications


Education

  • MBA preferred (Sales, Marketing, Sports Management, or Business Management).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Science, Fitness Management, or related field.


Experience

  • 5–10 years in premium sports, fitness, wellness, or wearable technology industry is mandatory.

  • Must have experience in dealer-distributor network management.

  • Prior experience selling premium recovery devices, fitness equipment, smart health trackers, or sports products is essential.
  • Strong network in gyms, wellness centers, sports retail, and corporate wellness.


Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and MIS capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM, sales tracking tools, and forecasting systems.
  • Ability to manage multi-city sales operations.
