Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Utilize CRM platforms such as Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and optimize pipeline management.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning; translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee account management processes to ensure ongoing customer success, retention, and expansion of revenue streams.
  • Provide leadership in technical sales scenarios by understanding product specifications, demonstrating solutions, and addressing complex customer requirements.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer service by ensuring the team delivers personalized support aligned with client expectations.
  • Analyze sales data regularly to identify opportunities for growth, process improvements, and increased efficiency across all sales functions.

Experience

  • Proven track record in outside sales with a strong background in B2B (business-to-business) environments.
  • Demonstrated management experience leading high-performing sales teams with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Extensive experience in technology or technical sales, including familiarity with software solutions like Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, business development, account management, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to inform decision-making and optimize sales strategies effectively.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles as they relate to lead generation and brand positioning is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with a customer-centric approach that fosters long-term relationships.
