Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify, approach, and engage with new companies that require IT staffing or developer resources.
- Generate leads via networking, cold calling, email campaigns, industry events, and social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Develop strategies to penetrate untapped markets and create new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client pain points and offering tailored solutions.
- Ensure repeat business by maintaining excellent client satisfaction.
Proposal & Negotiation
- Prepare and send tailored business proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align proposals with company resources and capabilities.
Sales Target Achievement
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Track pipeline growth and ensure timely deal closures.
- Forecast sales performance and contribute to strategic business planning.
Market Research & Strategy
- Stay updated with industry trends, staffing models, and competitor offerings.
- Provide valuable feedback to management for refining products and sales strategies.
- Identify opportunities in emerging sectors and niches where IT staffing is in demand.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work closely with the recruitment, HR, and technical teams to align client requirements with the right resources.
- Coordinate resource deployment to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery.
- Act as a bridge between clients and internal departments to guarantee seamless operations.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, proposals, and customer interactions in CRM tools.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline, and lead conversion.
- Share insights on challenges and opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- ✅ 1–3 years of experience in sales (IT staffing/outsourcing industry experience is highly preferred).
- ✅ Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- ✅ Excellent negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- ✅ Proven track record of generating leads and closing business deals.
- ✅ Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- ✅ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- ✅ Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
