A Sales Executive for a database company identifies leads, pitches database solutions (like Postgre SQL, Oracle, EDB, CRM, mySQL, Mongo DB, data analytics platforms) to businesses, manages the sales cycle from demo to closing deals, builds client relationships, and uses CRM tools (Salesforce) to track progress, all while hitting targets by understanding customer needs and demonstrating product value, blending tech knowledge with strong communication. Key duties involve lead gen (cold calls, networking), presentations, negotiation, contract closure, and post-sale support, requiring skills in data analysis, CRM, and strategic selling.
Experience: Proven sales experience, ideally in IT, SaaS, or data solutions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce), MS Office, and understanding of database concepts.

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Find new clients through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and market research.
Client Engagement: Contact potential clients, understand their database/data needs, and build strong relationships.
Sales & Presentations: Demonstrate database software, present solutions, handle inquiries, and negotiate contracts.
CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain and update customer records in CRM (Salesforce), track sales activities, and manage the sales pipeline.
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and quarterly sales quotas.
Collaboration: Work with marketing/tech teams, share market insights, and provide feedback.
Reporting: Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyze data to identify trends.
