Role Description

Role Proficiency:Act creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Account for others' developmental activities; assisting Project Manager in day to day project execution.

Outcomes

  • Interpret the application feature and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
  • Code debug test document and communicate product component and feature development stages.
  • Validate results with user representatives integrating and commissions the overall solution.
  • Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components while creating own solutions for new contexts
  • Optimises efficiency cost and quality.

  • Create and provide input for effort and size estimation and plan resources for projects

Manage Knowledge

  • Review the reusable documents created by the team

Release

  • Execute and monitor release process

Design

  • Contribute to creation of design (HLD LLD SAD)/architecture for applications features business components and data models

Interface With Customer

  • Clarify requirements and provide guidance to Development Team
  • Present design options to customers
  • Conduct product demos
  • Work closely with customer architects for finalizing design

Manage Team

  • Set FAST goals and provide feedback
  • Understand aspirations of the team members and provide guidance opportunities etc
  • Ensure team members are upskilled
  • Ensure team is engaged in project
  • Proactively identify attrition risks and work with BSE on retention measures

What you will do
  • You will work with the team to understand the requirements and design and develop algorithms & engines rules using Python.
  • Use BiqQuery as the backend, utilizing not only generic SQL/DB entities and operations but BQ specific operations as well.
  • You will be writing bash / powershell scripts.
  • You will develop APIs using the Flask framework and implement data ingestion pipelines to handle large volumes of data from various upstream sources
  • You will design and implement unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
  • You will analyze system issues and debug/track/resolve them effectively..
  • You will work with the DevSecOps team and use automation tools like Jenkins in scalable production environments.
  • You will apply modern software development practices like CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-code, serverless computing, microservices architecture etc.
  • Create Lookerstudio dashboards based on the BQ backend. Dashboard design could range from simple to complex configuration (involving multiple tables, views). What experience you need
  • 7+ years experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in mainstream Python
  • 7+ years of experience in developing applications using web frameworks such as Flask.
  • 3+ years experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
  • 3+ years of experience in data handling, management and ETL processes.
  • Experience with data extraction using API calls.
  • Experience with big data processing solutions using BigQuery, PubSub, GCS and others.
  • Proficiency in using source code control management systems like Github What could set you apart
  • Experience with Angular will enhance your contribution to our projects
  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON, XML, Powershell
  • Experience with cloud service providers such as GCP and AWS, particularly BigQuery will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Pandas Python library for data processing, manipulation, and analysis
  • Any exposure to AI/ML
  • Familiarity with Lookerstudio or similar data integration tools.
  • Prior experience in developing Operational or Security Metrics.
  • Knowledge of Security Domain and Controls.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow CMDB / ITAM.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, XP).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, manage internal client expectations.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identify and respond with minimal supervision
