About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to initiate, lead and deliver IT infrastructure projects across the EMEA region. This role is 100% remote and requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including:
- Data center upgrades
- Network deployments and refreshes
- Cloud migrations
- Hardware rollouts
- New site setups and site relocations/moves
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and subregional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of infrastructure components, services, and support.
- Ensure all infrastructure projects adhere to IT compliance requirements, including:
- Data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)
- Security standards and internal audit controls
- Licensing, documentation, and regulatory reporting
- Utilize ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to manage project portfolios, track progress, and align initiatives with business goals.
- Drive effective remote collaboration across geographically dispersed teams using digital tools and platforms.
- Proactively address common remote collaboration challenges such as:
- Time zone differences and asynchronous communication
- Cultural and language barriers
- Maintaining team engagement and accountability without physical presence
- Ensuring clarity and alignment in virtual meetings and documentation
- Facilitate virtual meetings, workshops, and status reviews to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to regional management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, technical and subregional teams to manage resources and tasks.
To succeed, you will need
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing IT infrastructure projects in a global or regional context.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SPM, including project tracking, resource management, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, cloud platforms, and data center operations.
- Experience managing new site implementations and site relocations, including coordination of logistics, infrastructure setup, and stakeholder alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT compliance frameworks, including GDPR, ISO standards, and internal audit protocols.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom)
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
