KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Vendor Management – Expediting

· Manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process to ensure efficient and uninterrupted procurement operations within the plant.

· Follow the Daily procurement activities to support seamless operational flow.

· Proactively resolve conflicts or issues with internal teams and external vendors in a timely and professional manner.

· Exhibit adaptability, resilience, and a solution-oriented mindset in addressing operational challenges and identifying improvement opportunities.

· Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive dashboards for monthly performance tracking and accurate reporting.

· Handle supplier concerns effectively, promoting strong, collaborative vendor relationships.

· Monitor supplier performance consistently, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and quality benchmarks.

· Manage procurement of long lead-time items by maintaining appropriate safety stock levels and optimizing raw material inventory.

· Oversee inventory management processes in alignment with change management strategies.

· Ensure accurate raw material tracking and strict compliance with established procurement procedures.

· Continuously seek innovative approaches to improve processes and reduce operational dependency


NON BOM Materials Procurement

· Identify and engage new or strategic vendors, collaborating with Supplier Development and R&D teams for part and product development.

· Conduct site visits and manage vendor evaluations in coordination with the Quality department.

· Regularly review, update, and report on vendor performance ratings and segmentation.

· Respond promptly to queries and concerns raised by auditors.

· Address vendor inquiries related to material purchases, payment terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring timely payments.

· Support the Corporate Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in initiatives spanning Logistics, Planning, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Development.

· Oversee the procurement of maintenance spares and consumables.

· Perform monthly spend analysis, implement appropriate actions to reduce expenses, and drive cost-saving initiatives.


Job Requirements:

Knowledge of Sheetmetal, plastic, Electrical & Electronics, Die casting, Power coating, Painting

· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

· IT Skills: - Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and Outlook

· SAP -MM must, PO creation.

· Language Skills: - Should be proficient in English & Hindi.

· This position requires travel to meet suppliers across India.

Preferences:

· Prior experience in the fan, home appliance, or electrical and electronics sectors is highly desirable.

· A strong work ethic with demonstrated commitment, the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, persuasive communication, sound decision-making skills, and a dependable, flexible, and adaptable approach to work.

· Familiarity with platforms such as SAP will be considered an added advantage
