Job Description for Procurement Officer:

Our Requirements & Norms:

1) Qualification : DME & B.E ( Mechanical )

2) Age criteria : Above 25– 35 Below

3) Work Experience : Minimum 5 years to Maximum 8 years

4) Designation : Procurement Officer

5) Shift : General Shift (9.00 am to 5.30 pm)

Essentials Requirements:

a) Having good knowledge in machining process-Turning, Milling, Grinding, Sheet Metal Fabrication etc.

b) Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering Drawings.

c) Ability to interact and finalize pricing and PDC’s with suppliers for turnaround time.

d) Inspection knowledge will be an added advantage.

e) Having knowledge in heat treatment and value added process and other related process.

f) Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers of electrical, mechanical, and industrial materials.

Job Description:

i. Rising of purchase orders as per the instructions from purchase head.

ii. Responsible for follow-up of purchase materials and track delivery schedules to ensure on-time supply.

iii. Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and terms to ensure the best procurement value.

iv. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality control teams to verify technical specifications.

v. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve any delivery or quality issues.

vi. Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

vii. Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies and ISO/industry standards.

viii. Prepare reports on procurement status, costs, and supplier performance.

ix. Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.

x. Co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure on time purchase deliveries with proper documents as per procurement plan and other purchase made on internal request.

xi. Responsible for stores with subcontractors. It includes arranging materials to suppliers as per PO periodically inspection at the site and liquidate the stock as and when.

xii. Responsible for any other related additional jobs as and when given by the Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
