Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Thiruvananthapuram for a Procurement Officer. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing and executing all procurement activities, including processing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, sourcing vendors, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The role will also involve developing and maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring supply chain efficiency, and ensuring compliance with project policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Procurement, Purchasing, and managing Purchase Orders
Expertise in Contract Negotiation and vendor relationship management
Strong Analytical Skills for decision-making and cost analysis
Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Previous experience in agricultural or development projects is a plus
