Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Head to lead and manage our end-to-end purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in vendor management, cost optimization, procurement planning, and a solid background in ERP implementation related to purchase and supply chain modules. This role requires excellent leadership skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to streamline procurement processes through technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Purchasing Management

  • Lead the entire procurement function, including sourcing, purchasing, negotiation, and vendor development.
  • Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate vendors, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the business.

ERP Implementation & Process Optimization

  • Lead and oversee the implementation of ERP systems for purchase and supply chain modules.
  • Map current procurement workflows and develop improved processes aligned with ERP capabilities.
  • Coordinate with ERP vendors, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Conduct training sessions for teams to ensure effective ERP usage and data accuracy.
  • Monitor system performance and handle troubleshooting or upgrades as needed.

Vendor & Cost Management

  • Negotiate best pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Develop cost-control strategies to reduce procurement expenses.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for better sourcing.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor the procurement team to improve performance and productivity.
  • Set KPIs for the department and ensure regular performance reviews.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and transparency.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare periodic reports for management.
  • Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain leadership roles.
  • Strong experience in ERP implementation, especially in purchase/procurement modules (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / Tally Prime ERP or similar).
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and inventory management.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,922.32 - ₹46,812.58 per month
