Head of Procurement ProcessExcellence&DSABB’s Robotics Division is a pioneer in robotics and digital services, providing innovative solutions for a diverse range of industries, from automotive to electronics to logistics. Our intelligent robotics solutions support businesses well beyond traditional manufacturing, increasing productivity and flexibility in high-growth segments including healthcare, logistics, food and beverage, construction, and retail, including ecommerce.The primary role of the P2P Process Lead is to oversee the invoice-to-pay (I2P) sub-process across the Robotics division and to design its future features. This role involves driving overall governance, leading and supporting the implementation and monitoring of related projects/initiatives, and coordinating the Robotics I2P sub-process performance in alignment with the Robotics P2P steering committee, Global Process Owners (GPOs), and Finance Accounting Operations (FAO).The role will act as a liaison between various stakeholders within the Robotics business: procurement, finance, legal & integrity, information systems; and others, and will support Robotics in its transition to a standard, compliant and automated P2P Process.This role sits within ABB’s Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We’re entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize the invoice-to-pay sub-process, integrating risk management and license to operate requirements
- Develop and maintain I2P related policies and procedures
- Represent Robotics I2P and collaborate with the P2P GPO organization and other functions to address I2P topics
- Analyze process data and identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and enhanced efficiency
- Build the Robotics I2P internal network consisting of stakeholders in procurement, finance and other functions
- Monitor key I2P process performance and compliance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, report on findings to management, and follow-up with stakeholders to achieve targets.
- Act as a change agent within business by defining and delivering I2P change management initiatives across the company and by being a personal role model of the expected behaviors.
Stay up-to-date with changes in I2P-related regulations, industry standards, and best practices, and ensure the company's processes are adjusted accordingly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounts payable, or P2P compliance role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of the P2P processes and working knowledge of technology enablers such as RPA, ai-enabled invoice processing, e-invoicing, and emerging payment technologies.
- Proficient in using SAP ERP system and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma: Green Belt or Black Belt certified or strong data analytics skills and solid track record of delivered results
- Knowledge of finance shared services operations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
- Solid project management skills: can lead projects/initiatives independently and execute to expected budget and deliverables
- Good at networking (finding the right people in the organization)
- Influencing skills: create appetite for simplifications and willingness to change
- Communication skills: present and report activities in a clear and effective way, sensitive to communication steps related to all levels of stakeholders
- Problem solving skills, systematic approach to a problem, root cause analysis, understanding consequences in a systemic manner
- Preferred: certification in finance or compliance
