Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our technical team. This role is critical to evaluating, designing, and optimizing industrial processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will contribute to safety studies, risk assessments, and project execution across client sites and internal R&D initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and review P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), mass & energy balances, and other engineering deliverables. Assist in the preparation of safety reports, design basis documents, and technical presentations. Conduct process design calculations (line sizing, relief valve sizing, utility requirements, etc.). Support and execute process safety studies such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, QRA, FERA, and What-If analysis. Participate in plant audits, safety reviews, and client technical discussions. Analyze incidents and recommend corrective measures for process-related risks. Stay updated with national and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, API, IS codes). Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of project deliverables. Qualifications & Skills Education: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in process engineering or process safety in consulting or industrial environments. Technical Skills: Familiarity with process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, DWSIM etc.) Working knowledge of engineering drawing software (AutoCAD, Visio, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of Indian and international process safety standards. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and technical writing ability. Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset. Attention to detail and structured approach to project execution.
