Pre-Sales Associate – Strategic Partnerships

(Fintech | B2B | SaaS | Banking & BFSI)


Role Summary

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Associate – Strategic Partnerships to support partnership development, relationship management, and early-stage engagement across Fintech, SaaS, Banking, and BFSI ecosystems.

This role will focus on partner coordination, first-level conversations, basic product demos, and initial requirement understanding, while working closely with senior partnership and pre-sales leaders for deeper solutioning, deal structuring, and closures.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience, strong communication skills, basic technical/product understanding, and exposure to SaaS or software-led businesses.


Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Support & Coordination

  • Support the execution of partnership initiatives across Fintech, SaaS, Banking, and BFSI segments.
  • Assist in identifying and engaging potential partners such as fintechs, SaaS platforms, banks, NBFCs, aggregators, and ecosystem players.
  • Manage day-to-day communication, follow-ups, and coordination with existing and prospective partners.


2. First-Level Partner Engagement & Meetings

  • Participate in and lead first-level partner meetings to understand high-level requirements, use cases, and partnership intent.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for partners for queries, information sharing, and alignment.
  • Escalate complex discussions, solutioning needs, and commercial conversations to senior stakeholders as required.


3. Pre-Sales & Basic Solution Understanding

  • Develop a strong functional understanding of the company’s products, platforms, and key APIs.
  • Conduct

    first-level product demos

    , walkthroughs, and capability discussions with partners.
  • Gather partner requirements and document use cases, workflows, and integration expectations for internal teams.
  • Support sandbox access, demo coordination, and PoC discussions in collaboration with pre-sales and product teams.


4. Partner Onboarding & Enablement Support

  • Assist in partner onboarding by coordinating with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Ensure partners receive relevant enablement assets such as decks, demos, FAQs, pricing sheets, and documentation.
  • Support internal tracking of partner onboarding progress and integration milestones.


5. Relationship Management & Growth Support

  • Help maintain healthy partner relationships through regular communication and updates.
  • Support identification of expansion opportunities across new products, use cases, or segments.
  • Assist in preparing inputs for QBRs, partner reviews, and internal updates.


6. Internal Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Partnerships, Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, and Marketing teams.
  • Maintain accurate partner data, meeting notes, and activity tracking in CRM or internal tools.
  • Assist in preparing reports and summaries on partner engagement, pipeline support, and ongoing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience

    in Partnerships, Alliances, Business Development, Channel Sales, or Pre-Sales support roles.
  • Exposure to

    SaaS, software products, fintech, or BFSI ecosystems

    is preferred.
  • Experience in partner-facing roles or ecosystem-based businesses is a plus.
  • Ability to understand product workflows, basic API concepts, and software platforms (no coding required).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Comfort conducting first-level meetings, presentations, and product demos.
  • Basic technical and product understanding with the ability to explain features and use cases clearly.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams and manage follow-ups effectively.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in execution.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into deeper partnership and solutioning responsibilities over time.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant certifications are a plus, but not mandatory.
