We are seeking a proactive and highly organized
PMO (Project Management Office) Specialist
to join our Global Finance Operations Enablement team. This role will be pivotal in supporting both the Global Continuous Improvement & RPA Lead and the Process Optimization Specialist, ensuring the successful delivery of CI, automation, and process optimization projects across our global Finance Operations footprint.This is a new role added to strengthen enablement team. This role will help and support Project Manager to drive projects and support business leaders. Currently there is no PM who can help drive existing transformation and optimization initiatives within FinOps. This role will help bring structure to support the Proejct Managers, our CI lead, our Delivery teams and our GPOs to drive transformation and optimization projects as part of BAU.
Role Overview
The PMO will act as the central coordinator and project manager for all CI and process optimization initiatives, providing structure, governance, and support to functional experts. This role will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives, while driving best practices in project management and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Governance
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of CI, RPA, and process optimization projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for all initiatives led by the CI & RPA Lead and Process Optimization Specialist
- Monitor project progress, manage risks/issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Facilitate regular project status meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder updates
PMO Best Practices
- Establish and enforce project management standards, templates, and reporting mechanisms
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies
- Maintain a central repository of project documentation, lessons learned, and best practices
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Global Process Owners, Service Delivery leaders, and Finance Operations teams across all sites
- Ensure clear communication of project objectives, progress, and outcomes to all relevant parties
- Support change management activities, including training, upskilling, and adoption of new processes and technologies
Support for Functional Experts
- Enable the CI & RPA Lead and Process Optimization Specialist by removing barriers, managing dependencies, and providing project management expertise
- Track and report on KPIs, metrics, and benefits realization for all CI and optimization projects
- Support workshops (Kaizen, VSM), RCA sessions, and transformation initiatives by managing logistics, documentation, and follow-up actions
- Support on key tactical items to enhance quality and ownership for service delivery
- RCA Coordination & Tracking: Maintain a centralized log of RCA activities, ensuring follow-up actions are tracked, owners are assigned, and timelines are met. Provide visibility to leadership on recurring themes and systemic issues
- Quality Review Cadence: Establish and manage a recurring cadence for quality review checkpoints, ensuring that improvement initiatives are progressing and delivering measurable impact
- Lessons Learned Repository: Create and maintain a structured repository for lessons learned across month-end close cycles and other key projects, enabling cross-functional learning and reuse of insights
- Documentation Governance: Implement version control and governance standards for process documentation, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and audit-readiness across all Finance Operations sites
- Knowledge Hub Maintenance: Partner with CI and Process Optimization leads to ensure the Knowledge Hub is continuously updated with validated SOPs, process maps, and improvement artifacts, and that it remains user-friendly and searchable
Digital Enablement & Innovation
- Support the rollout and adoption of automation (RPA, GenAI) and digital initiatives, working closely with the RPA CoE and EIT teams
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through citizen-led enablement programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or program coordination roles, preferably within Finance Shared Services or GBS environments
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma)
- Experience supporting process improvement, automation, and transformation projects
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, global environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused mindset
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.) and data analysis platforms

Additional Information
- The PMO will collaborate across all major Finance Operations sites: Pune (India), Bucharest (Romania), Sofia (Bulgaria), Bogota (Colombia), and Guangzhou (China)
Desired Experience & Competencies
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology and tools; Green Belt or Black Belt certification desired
- Experience in conducting Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops
- Knowledge and experience in RPA technologies and platforms (Advanced Excel, SAP Scripting, MS Automation tools, UiPath)
- Strong project management and data analysis skills
- 5+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in tech-driven business process improvement
- Ability to drive consensus across diverse stakeholders
- Finance Shared Services or GBS background preferred
- Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills
