Job Description ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for a passionate and agile individual with strong skills in data analysis, data interpretation and quality checks to work in our Analytics Solution. You will own, execute, and conduct analytic projects aimed at increasing retailer’s/manufacture sales globally. You will work with data, SQL code, Python and NIQ Analytical Models and Simulation tools. You will collaborate with the Client Delivery, Client Consulting and Support teams to lead execution of projects that will shape decisions of today’s leading retailers / Manufacturers. As you grow in experience, the profile will require you to start carrying out the above tasks independently, contribute to building relationships with relevant stakeholders, and towards improving our analytical solutions and value-added insights. Responsibilities Execute analyses error-free and on time Carry out multiple standard/non-standard analyses to help build quality and insightful proposals and final insights presentations Gain a detailed understanding and develop expertise in existing analytical solutions & Interpret findings and draw conclusions from model results Always look out and experiment with different techniques/methods to improve existing solutions Create and execute project plans for assigned work. Includes collecting, organizing, and tracking data inputs as well as leading internal meetings Ensure analysis results are of high quality from a statistical, logical and a business viewpoint Use critical thinking to investigate and solve any unexpected issues in owned project Work consultatively and creatively with NielsenIQ teams to provide accurate answers to client follow ups, following SCQA framework. A Qualifications ABOUT YOU You are an analytical person with a firm grasp of statistics and programming. You can explain complex methods in simpler words to less technical stakeholders. You pay attention to detail and have a proactive approach to checking your work. You are curious and are interested in identifying the narratives behind numbers and logical connections between the numbers. College/University Degree/PG Degree – Statistical & Analytics Background is Plus 0-2 years of relevant job experience in Data Analytics, Business and/or Marketing Proficiency in data processing/programming tools such as Python/SQL/Excel Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding and working knowledge of basic Statistical techniques like Regression, Cluster and Factor analyses, Significance testing Working knowledge of MS Office suite; experience on making excel simulators/ dashboards is a plus Fluent in spoken and written English to translate analytic outputs into key insights for relevant stakeholders Enthusiasm for learning new skills and flexible to adapt changes Knowledge of NielsenIQ data, or previous experience with NielsenIQ analytics like is a plus Additional Information Our Benefits Flexible working environmentVolunteer time offLinkedIn LearningEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP) About NIQ NIQ is the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth.
