Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the end-to-end operations of the NVH products manufacturing plant, ensuring safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production. The Plant Head will be responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing lean manufacturing practices, ensuring compliance with standards, and delivering on business objectives related to productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

As Certified Stellantis (Ex PSA) Group New Supplier Auditor (NSA Audit) & nominated by Stellantis as Authorised Third Party Inspection Agency, BITANA is facilitating third party inspection services at OEM/Supplier/Dealer/Market premises in order to prevent any defects experienced by customers.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Oversee daily plant operations for NVH product manufacturing (rubber sheets cutting & blanking).

·      Ensure achievement of production targets, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and delivery commitments.

·      Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma).

·      Ensure adherence to quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

·      Drive defect prevention, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

·      Collaborate with customers (OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers) for quality audits and approvals.

·      Implement EHS policies to maintain a safe working environment.

·      Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

·      Promote safety culture across the plant.

·      Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, SCM, HR).

·      Drive performance management, training, and skill upgradation programs.

·      Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation.

·      Drive cost optimization in manufacturing processes, material usage, and utilities.

·      Prepare and monitor plant budgets, CAPEX/OPEX.

·      Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

·      Oversee raw material, consumable i.e. packing material procurement, inventory control, and logistics.

·      Coordinate with suppliers for quality, timely deliveries, and cost effectiveness.

·      Ensure smooth coordination between plant and corporate SCM teams.

·      Drive automation, digitalization.

·      Plan and implement Business growth strategy in line with top management vision.
