About The Role

The

Omnichannel Retail Product Manager

will lead the development, lifecycle management, and multi-channel retail growth of Berkowits’ & Workowitz product portfolio.You will work across product development, clinic retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, and P&L — making this one of the most impactful roles in the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development & Roadmap Ownership
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of all SKUs — concept → formulation → packaging → launch → performance tracking.
  • Work closely with dermatologists, trichologists, and vendors to create differentiated hair & skin products across Berkowits’ ranges.
  • Ensure compliance, testing, certifications, and regulatory documentation.
  • Maintain a structured product roadmap with clear timelines for new launches and upgrades.
  • Vendor & Manufacturing Management
  • Source, negotiate, and manage external manufacturers, formulators, packaging partners, and suppliers.
  • Ensure quality standards, cost efficiency, and timely batch production.
  • Oversee artwork development, packaging design, and brand consistency for all SKUs.
  • Drive operational efficiencies across manufacturing and sourcing workflows.
  • Inventory, Supply Chain & Replenishment
  • Forecast demand across clinics, warehouses, marketplaces, and D2C channels.
  • Build strong reorder mechanisms to prevent stockouts and overstock.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams for timely replenishment.
  • Monitor batch ageing, inventory health, and inter-channel stock allocation.
  • Clinic Retail (T2C) Growth — Major Focus Area
  • Drive product sales through 48+ Berkowits clinics across India.
  • Build and execute training modules for consultants, doctors, and clinic teams.
  • Implement in-clinic promotions, sampling programs, bundling, and visibility tools.
  • Track SKU-wise clinic performance and take data-backed commercial decisions.
  • D2C & Website Commerce
  • Own revenue, conversions, and performance of Workowitz products on berkowits.in / Workowitz platforms.
  • Improve website funnel metrics through pricing, content optimisation, review generation, UGC, and A/B testing.
  • Build seasonal, thematic, and treatment-based product campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to enhance the D2C ecosystem.
  • Marketplaces: Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart
  • Drive growth on all major marketplaces.
  • Manage listings, A+ content, ratings, reviews, catalogue hygiene, and visibility.
  • Lead promotions, ad budgets, brand events, and marketplace-led growth programs.
  • Optimise pricing, margins, contribution, and operational metrics.
  • Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart)
  • Drive placement and visibility of Workowitz products across q-commerce platforms.
  • Manage assortment, pricing, replenishment, and rapid experimentation cycles.
  • Use real-time sales data to improve performance and category relevance.
  • Consumer Insights & Competition Benchmarking
  • Track customer feedback, reviews, and channel-wise sentiment.
  • Monitor competitor launches, claims, positioning, pricing, and innovation trends.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities across hair-care and skin-care portfolios.
  • P&L Ownership
  • Own SKU-level profitability, pricing architecture, and margin management.
  • Analyse COGS, contribution margins, promotions, and marketing efficiency.
  • Build quarterly growth plans and the new product pipeline.

Experience

Who Should Apply

  • 3–7 years in D2C, FMCG, Beauty/Personal Care, Wellness, or Marketplace Category Management.
  • Experience in product development, vendor management, or marketplace growth strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of retail + D2C + marketplace ecosystems.
  • Excellent analytical abilities: forecasting, sales analysis, Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Creative approach to product development and brand positioning.
  • Strong communication, presentation & vendor negotiation skills.
  • Ability to hustle, experiment fast, and collaborate cross-functionally.
