The Opportunity

National Sales Manager (India)

This is a high-impact leadership role — ideal for an experienced sales professional who thrives on strategy, execution and building winning teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the National Sales Strategy:

   Design and execute the annual sales plan to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives.

• Lead & Grow the Sales Force:

   Build and manage regional/zonal sales managers, drive performance culture, coach and mentor teams.

• Expand Distribution:

   Strengthen and grow our all-India channel partner network (distributors, dealers, and institutional customers).

• Drive Market Penetration:

   Identify new geographies, industry segments, and channels (modern trade, institutional, e-commerce).

• Forecasting & Reporting:

   Deliver accurate sales forecasts, monitor KPIs, and provide timely performance updates.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   Work closely with marketing, supply chain and product development teams for new launches and campaigns.

• Customer Relationships:

   Build long-term partnerships with key accounts and strategic institutions.

Desired Profile

• Experience:

   10–20 years of sales leadership experience in Disinfectants / Cleaning / Hygiene / Pharma / Chemical product industries.

• Track Record:

   Proven success in managing national or multi-region sales operations and achieving ambitious targets.

• Team Leadership:

   Strong people management skills — experience handling regional managers and large field teams.

• Analytical Mindset:

   Solid grip on sales data, channel performance and forecasting tools.

• Execution Excellence:

   Hands-on leader who can balance strategy with field action.

• Communication:

   Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Education:

   Graduate or Post-Graduate in Business, Marketing or related fields preferred.
