Job Summary:The National Collection Manager will be responsible to Manage and control Collections with MBFS India, timely collection of MBFS receivables, whilst ensuring MBFS policies / procedures and legal compliance is fully adhered to and that they are also compliant with Global Credit / Product rules and standards and regulations. The position demands good market knowledge and interpersonal skills, ability to strategize for handling upcoming volumes and extensive experience in remarketing of repossessed PC assets. The position also requires excellent supervisory skills in managing a team and vendors/suppliers.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control Collections with MBFS India, timely collection of MBFS receivables, whilst ensuring MBFS policies / procedures and legal compliance is fully adhered to and that they are also compliant with Global Credit / Product rules and standards and regulations.
- Minimize losses by performing portfolio analysis to identify any trends that would be potential losses and drive write off recovery efforts.
- Report and monitor non-performing loans and bad debt write offs and ensuring any trends or abnormalities are reported to Collections Head.
- Ensure to keep management fully informed of risks, trends and levels of delinquencies.
- Develop and initiate suitable strategies and processes in order to attain business targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all areas/levels of the business to ensure an excellent level of service maintained at all times.
- Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and development to on-site and field staff in the department.
- Take up projects and look to automate processes to attain ongoing efficiency and conduct smooth audits with internal and external auditors
Communication and leadership:
- Collection Team (Collection Managers, Agency Managers, Collection Vendors): Manage and control Collections with MBFS India, timely collection of MBFS receivables, whilst ensuring MBFS policies / procedures and legal compliance is fully adhered to and that they are also compliant with Global Credit / Product rules and standards and regulations and drive write off recovery efforts.
- Collection Team and Credit Team: Minimize losses by performing portfolio analysis to identify any trends that would be potential losses.
- Head of Collections: Report and monitor Non-Performing loans and bad debt write offs and ensuring any trends or abnormalities are reported to Collections Head
- Board Members & Leadership: Ensure to keep management fully informed of risks, trends and levels of delinquencies.

- Retention team and All Departments: Develop and maintain strong relationships with all areas/levels of the business to ensure an excellent level of service maintained at all times

Head of Collections, and other Department Heads: Take up projects and look to automate processes to attain ongoing efficiency and conduct smooth audit with internal and external auditors
QualifikationenEducation:
- Master’s degree / MBA in Accounting / Finance degree or Legal Degree desirable
Experience:
- 10+ years collections experience in collections related function
- Experience of working with outsource partners to include legal firms, collection and repossession agencies
- Previous experience in implementing projects to set up collection processes and procedures
- Good Knowledge of systems and IT
- MS Office computer skills required
Skills:
- Motor Vehicle Finance Industry experience essential
- Skip tracing experience
