Were hiring a Lead Business Systems Analyst to translate complex business goals into clear, testable requirements for an AI-first, data-centric platform.You will drive discovery, define user stories and acceptance criteria, steward domain vocabularies/ontologies with SMEs, and anchor UAT and pilot readiness.The ideal candidate blends enterprise BA rigor with enough technical fluency to work across knowledge graphs, retrieval (RAG), APIs, security/entitlements, and evaluation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Requirements :
- Elicit outcomes, top-N questions, and edge cases; map current vs.future workflows; write user stories with unambiguous acceptance criteria.
Domain Modeling
- Partner with SMEs to align ontology/taxonomy and data dictionaries; maintain definitions, lineage/provenance notes, and change logs.
Interface & Data Contracts
- Specify request/response schemas, field constraints, error states, and entitlement rules (role/row/column) for APIs and data pipelines.
Evaluation Readiness
- Curate test sets and ground truth; define scoring rubrics (faithfulness/correctness, precision/recall, latency) in partnership with engineering and QA.
Backlog & Scope Management
- Own the functional backlog, prioritize by value/risk, groom stories, and manage scope through structured change control.
UAT & Pilot Enablement
- Orchestrate UAT scripts and test data; coordinate business sign-off; document defects and acceptance decisions.
Documentation & Communication
- Produce BRDs/FRDs, process maps, RTMs (requirements traceability), and release notes; communicate decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Risk & Compliance Alignment
- Capture policy/guardrail requirements (PII/PHI, access, audit) and ensure they are reflected in designs, tests, and runbooks.
Value Tracking
- Define KPIs and baseline metrics; support dashboards for quality, latency, and adoption; contribute to executive readouts.
Required Skills
Enterprise BA Expertise : 3-5+ years in business/functional analysis with end-to-end ownership of discovery requirements UAT acceptance.Specification Mastery : Strong user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria; proficiency with RTMs and change control.Data & Semantics : Hands-on experience with data dictionaries, schemas, and ontology/taxonomy alignment; comfort reading SQL or query outputs for validation.Evaluation Mindset : Ability to design test sets and measurable rubrics; familiarity with A/B or side-by-side comparisons.Security & Entitlements : Practical understanding of RBAC/ABAC, data classification, audit requirements, and privacy constraints.Tools & Collaboration : Proficiency with backlog/requirements tools (Jira/Azure DevOps), diagramming (Visio/Lucid), and documentation wikis; excellent facilitation and communication skills.
