Job Description

The Manager / Sr. Manager – Memberships & Community is responsible for driving membership sales, ensuring high levels of community engagement, and meeting city-specific sales targets. The role includes leading the local sales and community team, managing client relationships, organizing community events, and developing strategies to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. People Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and community team to achieve business goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs.
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and collaborative community environment.
  • Address member concerns and resolve team issues in a timely manner.
2. Community Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members and prospects.
  • Organize and participate in member events to boost engagement.
  • Gather and analyze member feedback to improve the overall experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth member onboarding and service delivery.
3. Sales & Lead Generation
  • Identify, engage, and convert prospects into members.
  • Conduct club walk-throughs and show-around sessions for potential clients.
  • Maintain consistent follow-ups with all leads and log all interactions.
  • Make daily outreach calls and track conversion rates.
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies for lead generation and member retention.
4. Strategy Development & Execution
  • Design and implement sales plans to increase membership acquisition.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments for seamless service.
  • Leverage member feedback to refine community initiatives.
  • Build partnerships and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
5. Reporting & Target Achievement
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets specific to the city.
  • Track, analyze, and report sales data and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily, monthly, and annual reporting sheets.
6. Financial Management
  • Develop and manage sales budgets while ensuring cost optimization.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide periodic reports to management.
  • Identify revenue opportunities through events, upselling, and community initiatives.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns to boost memberships.
Accountability Scope
The role involves responsibilities in a mid-sized full-service business center, which may include food & beverage services, meeting spaces, or event facilities. The Manager is expected to support operational teams to ensure top-tier service delivery and overall business growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in coworking, hospitality, or membership-based industries.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach.
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet targets consistently.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
