Role Overview: As the Marketing Business Development Manager at WOOP, you’ll play a key role in expanding our client base and driving sustainable business growth. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their digital media needs, craft tailored solutions, and manage relationships from start to finish. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for leadership and strategic impact as you grow with the company. Key Responsibilities: I. Sales & Business Development: Lead efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple channels, including direct sales, partnerships, and market expansion. Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and drive revenue growth. Own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and creating proposals to final negotiations and securing contracts. II. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients as their main point of contact for all WOOP-related digital needs. Find innovative ways to stay in touch with clients, ensuring continued engagement, satisfaction, and identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. III. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with WOOP’s project and digital teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution of client deliverables. Track project progress, gather client feedback, and ensure adjustments are made to meet client expectations and drive success. IV. Leadership & Team Growth: As you grow within WOOP, you’ll take on leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and guiding a team of business development professionals. Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring team members are motivated and aligned with company goals. V. Market Insights & Strategy: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform WOOP’s growth strategy. Contribute to strategic thinking by providing insights on potential areas for expansion or new offerings for clients. VI. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Take ownership of growing your own sales pipeline, utilizing both inbound and outbound lead generation strategies. Ensure consistent and effective follow-up to keep the pipeline full and drive new business. Essential Skills & Experience: Experience: 3-5 years in business development, sales, or related growth roles (preferably in a startup environment). Track Record: Proven success in closing deals, driving revenue, and building lasting business partnerships. Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels. Tools: Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and business development software. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business opportunities and market trends. Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Desirable Skills: Experience in digital-media sales or a related field. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and customer acquisition channels. Familiarity with lead generation, pipeline management , and customer lifecycle management . Personal Attributes: Motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for business growth. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a startup environment. Strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and time management. Team player who can build relationships internally and externally.
