I. JOB DETAILS

Job Title

 

Manager / Sr. Manager – HR (Compliance)

 

Reporting Supervisor

 

Functional: Compliance Head

Operational: Project team Head

 

II. JOB PURPOSE

 

To ensure right knowledge of Business analysis, Requirement gathering & defining solution approach. 

 

 

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure registration, renewal of licenses under the BOCW / CLRA and linked compliances.
  • Manage BOCW cess calculation, Assessment and filing of returns
  • Coordinate with the vendors for the project related compliance and labour cess submission on time, evaluation, billing clearance, regular audits, period audit of labour compliance, Code of conduct, POSH guidelines.
  • Monitor personal safety of workers
  • Attend any notice / inspection and get this clear by filing requisite compliances and records
  • Weekly and monthly review with project and with head compliance 
  • Facilitate registration of workers under the BOCW Welfare Board and ensure access to benefits.
  • Verify contractor compliance under CLRA, EPF, ESIC and Minimum Wages Acts.
  • Maintain statutory registers, returns and compliance tracker for all contractors.
  • Liaisoning with Labour Department and Welfare Board officials for inspections, renewals and audits.
  • Monitor safety, health and welfare initiatives for site workers.
  • Submit monthly compliance MIS reports to management.

Measurable Deliverables

 

  • 100% statutory compliance with no legal penalties.
  • Timely BOCW cess payment and renewal of labour licenses.
  • Complete BOCW worker registration and welfare coverage.
  • CLRA Act vendor compliances
  • Vendor Bill checking
  • Making Tracker of routine compliance
  • Attending all legal notices / Government liasioning / all inspections & Notifications.
  • Crosschecking of Government dues of ESIC and EPF
  • Submission of Periodic Return and keep track
  • Handling of Routine Queries

 

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Postgraduate – Minimum Law Graduate

 

Experience

 

  • 10+ Years of experience of HR statuary compliance, BOCW and Labour laws

 

Behavioural Skills

 

  • Good Communication and good command on computer
  • Good knowledge of compliance
  • Good Inter personal skills, pro-activeness, Self-motivated, Fast learner
  • Presentable 

Language Skills

 

  • English & Hindi
