Handle all queries and requirements of statutory auditors and tax auditors. 4. Compliance and Controls Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and other applicable laws. Maintain audit trails and documentation for internal and external audits. Implement and monitor internal financial controls. 5. Cost & Inventory Accounting Coordinate with stores and production for periodic inventory valuation. Reconcile and analyze variances in material consumption, WIP, and FG stock. Assist in preparation of cost sheets for different machine tools/products. 6. ERP and Automation Work closely with the IT team for financial module implementation and maintenance (SAP/Tally/MS Dynamics or other ERP). Assist in system improvements and automation of accounting processes. Key Skills and Competencies : Strong knowledge of accounting standards and manufacturing accounting. Hands-on experience with ERP systems. Experience in handling IT and statutory audits. Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, and accounting software. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Desirable Attributes : Prior experience in machine tools or engineering industry. Exposure to cost accounting and product costing.
