Job Description

SCM-HV Manager
Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement for HT infrastructure components such as power transformers, HT switchgear, substation materials, and transmission line accessories.Collaborate with engineering and project execution teams to understand technical specifications and convert them into actionable procurement strategies. Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and manufacturers; conduct techno-commercial evaluations and drive long-term vendor partnerships. Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) and bid processes, ensuring transparency, cost competitiveness, and alignment with project requirements. Negotiate contracts and framework agreements ensuring optimal pricing, delivery, quality, warranty, and service obligations.Monitor supplier performance and quality compliance through audits and performance tracking. Coordinate logistics, delivery schedules, and inventory planning with relevant teams to ensure timely availability of HT equipment. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and cost indices impacting the HT infra supply market. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations. Support cost-saving initiatives, budgeting exercises, and internal reporting requirements. Vendor Management: Skilled in developing and managing supplier relationships for quality and reliability. Analytical Thinking: Data-driven decision-making and root-cause analysis for supply disruptions or quality issues. Project Coordination: Collaborative working style with project, engineering, and site teams. Compliance Awareness: Understanding of applicable statutory requirements, safety norms, and industry standards. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Effective stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration. Problem-Solving: Proactive approach in addressing supply chain challenges and operational bottlenecks.
