Position Summary
We are searching for Manager – Mixing Room who possesses the operational and leadership skills to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in driving aggressive growth plans. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style, proven track record / achievement. THE ROLE
This role is responsible for executing coordinating with departments, clarifying deviations, ensuring quality production meeting statutory regulations, and managing facility and 5S implementation. strategies and actions plans to achieve the organizational goals. together with Global functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization’s objectives. In addition this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders. Overseeing production processes and guide team to achieve the production targets. Manage production budgets.Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management.Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage involves controlling, organizing, and monitoring production operations to meet targets, implementing corrective actions, and developing recovery plans for delays activities to support efforts to achieve the productivity plan.
The assigned territories include Fluid Power businesses in India. The specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
- Oversee daily operations of the rubber mixing area, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Optimize batch processing to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
- Monitor raw material usage and ensure availability as per production needs.
- Ensure all rubber compounds meet quality specifications and industry standards.
- Implement process control measures to minimize defects and deviations.
- Work closely with Production, QA and R&D teams for continuous improvement.
Accountability #2: Process / Performance
- Analyze mixing cycle times, energy consumption, and material utilization to enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Drive initiatives for waste reduction and improved yield.
- Ensure proper maintenance of mixers, mills, and other equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams for preventive and predictive maintenance planning.
Accountability #3: People
- Supervise and mentor operators and technicians in the mixing area.
- Conduct training sessions on process improvements, safety, and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Drive compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
- Monitor and analyze key production metrics, such as cycle times, defect rates, and downtime.
- Prepare reports for senior management and suggest improvement strategies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent reports to Sr. Manager/HOD & operate with a team of 5-6 + Individual contributors.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
This person must have at least 8 years hands on experience in in operational activities in the assigned countries or region.
- Minimum 10 years, proven track record in operational activities.
- BE/ BTech in Engineering (master’s will be preferable).
