Job Description

Role Overview

MIS Executive

Key Responsibilities

Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
Prepare dashboards and MIS reports for management, covering sales, revenue, expenses, operational efficiency, and other KPIs.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports and data shared with stakeholders.
Provide analytical insights and highlight variances/trends to support business decisions.
Automate reports and develop templates to streamline reporting processes.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring by providing accurate data and analysis.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for data collection and validation.
Maintain databases and ensure data integrity, security, and confidentiality.
Identify gaps in reporting processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), Power BI / Tableau (preferred), and ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of financial, operational, and business KPIs.
Excellent communication skills to present reports and insights clearly.
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in MIS, data analysis, or reporting (experience in retail/e-commerce/FMCG will be an advantage).
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.).
Knowledge of SQL and visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau preferred.
