Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations across B2B and D2C channels. The role will involve planning shipments, coordinating with production, warehouses, and vendors, managing commercials and ensuring cost-efficient, timely deliveries. The ideal candidate should bring strong expertise in operations execution, vendor management and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Dispatch Planning

• Plan and coordinate shipments based on production inputs and channel-wise requirements.
• Prepare and monitor channel-wise appointments and work orders.
• Manage dispatches for internal stock (SK), external stock (SK), and warehouse operations.
• Ensure optimal utilization of vendor vehicles and transport resources.

Commercial & Cost Management

• Handle logistics cost models including FPL (Full Truck Load), PTL (Part Truck Load) and D2C deliveries.
• Verify daily appointments and logistics bills to ensure cost accuracy.
• Drive cost per kilometer (CPK), cost per vehicle (CPV) and cost per unit (CPU) efficiency.

Logistics Operations (B2B & D2C)

• Manage logistics processes across B2B, D2C and offline procurement channels.
• Oversee returns management and ensure smooth reverse logistics.
• Coordinate with vendors, warehouses and channel partners to ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) deliveries.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and publish daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on logistics performance, costs, and vendor efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with agreements, contracts and insurance requirements.
• Negotiate logistics agreements with vendors to optimize costs and service levels.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with production, sales and warehouse teams to align logistics activities with business needs.
• Manage vendor performance through SLAs, contract negotiations and regular reviews.
• Build strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
• 8–12 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in manufacturing, retail or consumer tech/D2C sectors.
• Strong knowledge of FPL, PTL and D2C operations.
• Proven track record in vendor management, cost optimization and contract negotiations.
• Excellent skills in MIS reporting, data analysis and logistics performance measurement.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Experience in 3PL logistics and e-commerce operations will be considered an added advantage.
