Role Description Role Proficiency: Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions account for others' developmental activities Outcomes Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications. Code debug test document and communicate product/component/feature development stages. Validate results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solution Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components or creating own solutions Optimises efficiency cost and quality. Influence and improve customer satisfaction Set FAST goals for self/team; provide feedback to FAST goals of team members Measures Of Outcomes Adherence to engineering process and standards (coding standards) Adherence to project schedule / timelines Number of technical issues uncovered during the execution of the project Number of defects in the code Number of defects post delivery Number of non compliance issues On time completion of mandatory compliance trainings Code Outputs Expected: Code as per design Follow coding standards templates and checklists Review code – for team and peers Documentation Create/review templates checklists guidelines standards for design/process/development Create/review deliverable documents. Design documentation r and requirements test cases/results Configure Define and govern configuration management plan Ensure compliance from the team Test Review and create unit test cases scenarios and execution Review test plan created by testing team Provide clarifications to the testing team Domain Relevance Advise Software Developers on design and development of features and components with a deep understanding of the business problem being addressed for the client. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in SQL (Oracle, MS SQL), cloud technologies (AWS/GCP preferred). This role requires hands-on technical leadership, the ability to troubleshoot critical data issues, manage a team of 7+ engineers, and handle Sev1/Sev2 incident responses. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Project Execution Lead and manage complex integration solutions, including design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment. Oversee multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-priority projects. Provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, performance tuning, and data management. Lead the resolution of Sev1/Sev2 incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. Work with architects and business teams to analyze system requirements, identify gaps, and define scalable solutions. Database Development & Optimization Write and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple database platforms (Oracle, MS SQL). Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and database scripts for optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve data translation issues when data moves from source to target. Cloud & Infrastructure Management Work with cloud environments to deploy, optimize, and scale data solutions. Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to optimize cost, performance, and security. Team & Stakeholder Management Manage a team of 7+ engineers, ensuring effective mentoring, training, and career development. Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and analysts to gather technical and business requirements. Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and best practices repositories. Conduct presentations, demos, and knowledge-sharing sessions using Excel, PowerPoint, and other visualization tools. Process Improvement & Automation Leverage scripting to automate data processes and improve efficiency. Continuously explore opportunities for cost savings and process efficiency in data operations. Skills: 7+ years of experience in time-critical, multi-stakeholder projects. 3+ years in a technical lead role, managing project execution and mentoring engineers. 5+ years of experience working with health plan data (Enrollments, Claims, Payments). Experience managing a team of 7+ engineers. Expertise in SQL, including writing complex queries in Oracle, MS SQL. Experience handling Sev1/Sev2 incident response.
