Job Description

Position Summary

The Junior HR Executive will provide essential support to the Human Resources department across a spectrum of operational and administrative functions. This entry-level role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to launch their career in HR. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring smooth HR operations, maintaining accurate employee data, and delivering a positive employee experience from onboarding onwards.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Operations:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both digital (HRIS) and physical filing systems.
  • Prepare and process HR documents, including employment contracts, offer letters, promotion letters, and termination paperwork.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist in the generation of standard and ad-hoc HR reports for management review (e.g., headcount, turnover, attendance).

Talent Acquisition Support:

  • Coordinate the recruitment scheduling process, including arranging interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with initial resume screening and candidate sourcing to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, including conducting orientation sessions, ensuring completion of paperwork, and preparing onboarding materials.

Compliance & Policy Management:

  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the audit and maintenance of I-9 forms and other compliance-related documentation.
  • Help disseminate and educate employees on company policies and the employee handbook.

Employee Engagement & Support:

  • Provide logistical support for HR initiatives and programs, including performance reviews, training sessions, and employee engagement events.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment by addressing employee inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role; relevant internships will be considered.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
