Position Summary
As a Sales Associate – Study Abroad, you will play a vital role in supporting the Counsellor’s by driving student engagement, nurturing leads, and achieving application, enrolment, and revenue targets. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator, organized, and passionate about helping students achieve their international education goals.The role involves scheduling counselling sessions for prospective students, conducting effective follow-ups, and achieving the closure of admissions/enrollments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Student Engagement
Connect with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings to understand their study abroad aspirations.
Assist in converting leads into confirmed applications by effectively communicating the value of diverse university options and the application process.
Assisting Conversion & Revenue Targets
Support the Sales Lead in guiding students through the process of paying the refundable processing fee (₹5,000–₹10,000) or the registration fee (₹1,000), ensuring only genuinely interested candidates progress.
Drive achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly enrolment and revenue goals through diligent follow-up and persuasive conversations.
Outreach & Social Media Engagement
Participate in creating, curating, and sharing engaging content and testimonials (Employee Generated Content) targeting students across social platforms.
Actively drive awareness about study abroad programs, events, and job-ready courses among college communities.
CRM & Data Discipline
Diligently log all interactions and pipeline updates in the CRM; ensure all follow-ups and lead stages are up-to-date.
Collaboration & Skill Building,
Coordinate with internal departments like admissions, visa, and documentation teams for smooth processing.
Provide regular reports to the Team Lead on lead status and conversion metrics, Generate daily/weekly reports as required for team meetings and reviews.
Work closely with the Sales Lead and marketing teams, providing feedback from your interactions with students.
Participate wholeheartedly in training, coaching sessions, and workshops for continuous improvement.
Who Should Apply?
Recent graduates or final-year students (any discipline) with a passion for sales, career counselling, or international education.
Excellent spoken and written communication in English and at least one regional language.
A proactive, enthusiastic, and ambitious self-starter.
Demonstrated ability to influence, persuade, and build trust with hesitant or undecided students—an instinct for closing and converting leads is highly valued.
Strong natural selling skills: confidence to drive conversations toward a decision, persistence in following up, and a relentless focus on achieving targets.
High level of personal ownership in converting every qualified enquiry into a successful application or enrolment.
Skilled at identifying buying signals, handling objections, and communicating the value proposition in a compelling manner.
An active listener who can understand student needs and provide relevant, tailored guidance.
Strong interpersonal skills and genuine empathy for student aspirations.
High integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive student data and payments.
Resilience to handle rejection and capacity to maintain energy and positive attitude in a high-activity sales environment.
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-changing, multicultural environment.
Eagerness to learn about universities, global education trends, and visa processes.
Team spirit, willingness to contribute beyond assigned tasks, and a growth mindset.
Comfortable with high-tempo, target-driven work and ready to work from the office full-time.
Prior experience in tele calling, student outreach, or inside sales is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity or willingness to learn CRM tools digital communication tools and productivity software (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) is an advantage.
