Job description: Sr. Executive / Lead / Manager- Recruitment (IT) Company- IT Company Experience Required: 10 - 20 years Location- Chennai THE ROLE – MANAGER HR- TALENT ACQUISITION The Manager- Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing and executing innovative and scalable recruitment strategies to attract top-tier IT talent for the organization. This includes overseeing campus recruitment, driving recruitment in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and managing large-scale hiring initiatives. As the leader of the IT recruitment function, you will optimize processes, ensure high recruitment standards, and manage SLAs to meet hiring goals efficiently. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven leader who is process-oriented, has strong documentation skills, and is capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. You will be instrumental in shaping employer branding and developing a hiring strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and business needs. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership & Hiring Strategy: · Design and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy focused on meeting the organization's growing IT recruitment needs, with an emphasis on scale, efficiency, and quality of hire. · Develop tailored campus recruitment strategies in partnership with universities, targeting top-tier talent from various institutes across the country, especially by travelling to tier 2 and tier 3 cities. · Drive large-scale recruitment campaigns to hire high volumes of technical talent across various IT roles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. · Build and implement a hiring strategy to target diverse candidate pools, integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles into all recruitment initiatives. · Identify, recommend, and execute best practices in recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and on-boarding, to improve overall efficiency. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management: · Lead and manage a team of talent acquisition specialists and recruiters to drive hiring initiatives. · Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various business departments, product managers ensuring recruitment strategies align with business goals and department-specific needs. · Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, provide guidance on talent assessment techniques, and ensure job descriptions reflect current market trends and skill requirements. · Serve as a consultative partner to leadership, offering insights into labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive talent landscapes. · Manage and develop recruitment teams to ensure continuous skill development and alignment with organizational goals. Process Optimization & Documentation: · Develop and enforce recruitment processes that ensure consistent, efficient, and fair hiring practices across all IT functions and geographies. · Ensure compliance with SLAs and hiring timelines, while maintaining a high level of quality in candidate experience and hiring decisions. · Oversee the documentation of recruitment processes, interview feedback , and candidate assessments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for reporting and future reference. · Implement tools and technologies to streamline and automate recruitment processes, improving efficiency while maintaining a human touch in candidate interactions. Recruitment at Scale & Volume Hiring: · Lead high-volume hiring campaigns , ensuring the organization can quickly scale its IT workforce without compromising quality. · Travel extensively to tier 2 and tier 3 cities , conducting recruitment drives, building networks, and partnering with local universities to tap into new talent pools. · Implement innovative sourcing techniques to attract candidates in areas with less competitive talent availability, including leveraging local job fairs, hackathons, and online coding challenges. Employer Branding & Candidate Engagement: · Develop and execute employer branding strategies to promote the company as an employer of choice within the IT community, especially in targeted cities and campuses. · Enhance the organization’s online and offline presence, including social media, job boards , and community outreach , ensuring a strong employer brand that resonates with top IT talent. · Cultivate relationships with universities, professional organizations, and industry groups to raise awareness of the company and its culture within the IT talent pool. Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting: · Utilize recruitment analytics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing channels, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and other key recruitment metrics. · Continuously improve recruitment strategies and decision-making through data, adjusting sourcing tactics, candidate engagement, and process improvements as needed. · Provide regular reports and insights on recruitment performance to senior leadership, highlighting challenges, opportunities, and the overall progress of hiring initiatives. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Qualifications: · Specialization in HRD/ an MBA with specialization in Human Resources or relevant professional certifications Experience: o 10+ experience in talent acquisition, with at least 8 years in a leadership role focused on IT recruitment. o Proven track record of managing large-scale IT recruitment efforts, including campus recruitment, hiring for tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and high-volume hiring campaigns. o Experience with recruiting for a diverse range of IT positions , such as software engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity specialists, IT infrastructure roles, etc. o Demonstrated ability to work with SLAs, documentation standards , and process optimization to meet hiring objectives efficiently and effectively. Skills: o Strong leadership capabilities , with the ability to inspire, coach, and mentor a team of recruiters. o Expertise in recruiting at scale , including mass hiring and managing high-volume recruitment campaigns. o Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and hiring managers. o Exceptional written/verbal communication and negotiation skills , with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels. o Proficiency in ATS systems , HR tools, and recruitment platforms, with the ability to optimize and leverage technology to improve the hiring process. o Process-oriented with a focus on maintaining consistency and quality in every stage of the recruitment lifecycle. o Experience with employer branding initiatives and campus recruitment activities. o Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions, track metrics, and assess the success of recruitment strategies. o High Energy , able to motivate, collaborate and to generate followership with demonstrated capability in engaging a large, distributed organisation.
