Job Summary:


The Director HR plays a strategic role in establishing and aligning local human resource practices with organizational goals. This position is responsible for building the India HR function from scratch, working with Global HR Centers of Excellence in establishing and maintaining HR operational processes, ensuring local HR policies and procedures are aligned with global standards and policies, overseeing local payroll and benefits vendor and related administrative activities, and collaborating with talent acquisition in establishing a local employment brand HRBP provides As the site grows, will be responsible for providing HR guidance to global people managers, analyzes metrics, resolves employee relation issues and works with managers working to establish and maintain a positive improve work relationships and employee experienced and meet company productivity goals. This role is the gatekeeper of local compliance in alignment with Global HR and business practices provides expertise on local market to advise the global operation of the company.


Description


  • Ensures the geography follows/mirrors global HR policies and regulations, as well as local workforce laws. Ensures business leaders are making decisions and taking actions that are in accordance with them.
  • Collaborates with Finance and IT on Office set up and related people policies and processes.
  • Collaborates with Compensation Total Rewards COE to obtain maintain market data and maintain competitive compensation practices for the country in top shape.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders to understand workforce plan and ensure opportunities to provide a quality onboarding experience for all new hires.
  • Acts as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership on local HR matters
  • Follows the local HR Plan to implement Employee & Management Excellence programs and build capability and effectiveness in the line organization.
  • Bringing people expertise to develop solutions to help the organization to deliver its strategy and being proactively step ahead in terms of understanding, data and insight (externally and internally) to role model HR skills and professionalism
  • Driving a culture of high performance where talent is recognized, stretched and poor performance managed
  • Collaborating across the HR function to develop integrated solutions and ensure execution for major people-centered projects and processes with a ‘one team’ approach that boosts employee morale and satisfaction
  • Acting as change agent when working with global people managers to educate related to local practices and to oversee new processes, help drive end-user adoption of HR technology, tools and solutions and to drive other change management across the organization.
  • Furthermore, the role encompasses policy review, monthly compensation payroll processes, and general HR support across various employee lifecycle stages. This includes providing input on induction, probation, and leave processes, supporting cyclical HR processes such as performance appraisals and remuneration reviews, suggesting and recommending improvements to HR administration processes for enhanced service delivery.
  • Accountable for managing employee relations concerns, adhering to Acumatica and HR policy while following guidance from local employment law attorney. Drives resolution of issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Execution of people plan and programs in Geo
  • Accountable for delivery of Performance Management processes, including Mid-Year Check-In and Annual Performance Review for the geography.
  • Supports interpreting engagement survey results for the geo and collaborates with leaders to develop plans to address employee feedback.
  • Ensures adherence to Indian labor laws and statutory regulations including data privacy, workplace safety, protection from harassment, and other regulations as appropriate.
  • Responsible for Prevention and Protection from Harassment at Work
  • Responsible to implementation of Internal Whistleblowing Procedure
  • Ad Hoc projects aligned with business and people needs to (Recruitment involvement, immigration and partnership with Centers of excellence in HR to fulfill local and global projects).
