About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned data operations leader to spearhead and scale our India Global Capability Center (GCC) focused on data governance, high-volume data operations, cataloging, and operational excellence. This is a strategic leadership role for someone with a strong foundation in data management and enterprise-scale transformation, who has successfully built and led large, cross-functional teams (200+ FTEs) in global organizations. The role demands a blend of data strategy expertise, process optimization acumen, and people leadership, with accountability for delivery excellence, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement of data operations across multiple domains Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Scale-up: Establish and lead the India GCC focused on data-centric operations including master data management, data quality, cataloging, and lifecycle governance. Drive the scaling strategy , hiring, and organizational structure to build a high-performing team aligned to global standards. Cultivate a culture of ownership, operational discipline , and data-driven excellence . Data Governance & Management: Oversee implementation and adoption of data governance controls , including data quality frameworks, data cataloging, data lineage, and lifecycle management. Operational Excellence: Implement robust process optimization strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and compliance within data entry, enrichment, and governance workflows. Drive automation initiatives and quality assurance programs for sustainable operational performance. Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to global business units , product teams, and functional leaders on matters related to data operations and governance. Collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPOs), Communities of Practice (CoP), and IT leadership to align priorities and execution. Program Delivery & Compliance: Ensure delivery against SLA/KPI commitments while maintaining data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Lead transformation initiatives including enterprise data governance rollouts. Ideal Candidate Profile: 20+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data operations, and enterprise transformation. Proven ability to scale and lead large teams (200+ FTEs) across shared services or capability center models. Strong understanding of data entry operations, cataloging processes, and data lifecycle best practices. Experience in managing cross-functional delivery Exceptional communication skills and experience engaging with C-level executives and global stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems , or related field. Demonstrated success in GCC setup or transformation programs , preferably in a data-heavy or compliance-driven environment.
