Job Title: HR Manager— India DO Reports To: Global Head of HR (U.S.) | Dotted Reporting to India DO Head Location: Mysore, India Employment Type: Permanent Job Summary The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function for India operations, supporting a large and growing workforce across technical and business roles., partnering closely with the Global Head of HR and senior leadership across geographies. This role is accountable for aligning India’s HR strategy with global objectives, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws, and fostering a culture that reflects our values and mission. This position will also play a pivotal role in embedding AI into HR practices, strengthening talent development and resource management, and shaping a workforce capable of driving innovation across Payments, Capital Markets, Lending, Banking & Insurance, Manufacturing, Education, and Emerging Verticals. Key Responsibilities • Lead the India DO HR charter in partnership with the Global Head of HR, aligning HR strategy to vision of helping clients achieve remarkable growth faster. • Serve as an advisor to leadership on India workforce trends, risks, and opportunities. • Design and execute strategies to attract, retain, and grow top DO talent. • Implement robust career pathways, succession planning, and leadership development programs. • Collaborate with business leaders on upskilling initiatives to support future-ready skills. • Drive employee engagement initiatives that foster collaboration, inclusion, and innovation. • Act as escalation point for complex employee relations issues, ensuring fairness and trust. • Ensure full compliance with Indian labor laws, corporate policies, and regulatory audits. • Oversee HR operations, payroll, and benefits administration with accuracy and transparency. • Strengthen vendor validation and compliance processes in partnership with Finance and Legal. • Lead performance management cycles and oversee compensation and recognition programs that reinforce a high-performance culture. • Leverage HR analytics to identify trends and inform proactive workforce strategies. Qualifications & Experience • Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. • Proven track record in HR leadership for technical/engineering organizations in India. • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance. • Experience working in global/matrixed environments and collaborating across geographies. • Exposure to HR technology and AI-driven tools preferred.
