Job Description

Role Overview: As the HR Director for India operations, you will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function, supporting a large and growing workforce across technical and business roles. Your role will involve partnering closely with the Global Head of HR and senior leadership across geographies to align India's HR strategy with global objectives and ensure compliance with Indian labor laws. Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering a culture that reflects the company's values and mission. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the India HR charter in partnership with the Global Head of HR, aligning HR strategy with the vision of helping clients achieve remarkable growth faster. - Champion the integration of AI and automation into HR processes to enhance efficiency and decision-making. - Act as the senior advisor to leadership on India workforce trends, risks, and opportunities. - Design and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top technical talent. - Establish robust career pathways, succession planning, and leadership development programs. - Collaborate with business leaders on upskilling initiatives to support future-ready skills. - Drive employee engagement initiatives to promote collaboration, inclusion, and innovation. - Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations issues, ensuring fairness and trust. - Ensure full compliance with Indian labor laws, corporate policies, and regulatory audits. - Strengthen vendor validation and compliance processes in collaboration with Finance and Legal. - Lead performance management cycles and oversee compensation and recognition programs to cultivate a high-performance culture. - Utilize HR analytics to identify trends and guide proactive workforce strategies. Qualifications & Experience: - Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles. - Demonstrated track record in HR leadership within technical/engineering organizations in India. - Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance. - Experience working in global/matrixed environments and collaborating across geographies. - Exposure to HR technology and AI-driven tools is preferred.
