We are an ambitious and high-performing team, now looking for a dynamic People Associate to support the delivery of our people initiatives by providing comprehensive administrative support and a real focus on our team. Reporting to the People Lead, your foundation as the People Associate will need to be strong, meaning that you need to be knowledgeable on all things JMAN.
You will be a go-to person for internal and external stakeholders, always with the aim of constantly improving our People processes and interactions with our global team.
The nature of what we do is that the People functions are very inter-dependent. Below is an outline of some of your areas of responsibility – these will grow and change depending on the needs of the business as well as your areas of interest and strength.
Assist in the smooth onboarding of new employees by preparing necessary paperwork, contracts, and forms.
To support in organizing orientation sessions for new employees, introducing them to company policies, culture, and team members.
Track the completion of onboarding tasks, such as document submission and post onboarding session ensuring a seamless integration into the company.
Attend weekly events meetings and take effective minutes, driving actions across the teams.
Drive engagement amongst the events team.
Send out invitations, reminders, and general notices about events to drive excitement and engagement amongst the team.
Assist in designing and managing performance appraisal systems.
Work with department heads to create, define, and update Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for employees.
Support managers in delivering feedback and tracking employee performance data.
Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation packages.
Assist in salary negotiations and develop compensation strategies.
To assist in payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
To Assist and manage employee rewards and recognition programs to motivate and engage staff. To support and organize regular awards, recognition events, and initiatives to celebrate employee achievements.
To support visa and work permit processing for employees, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
To support updating and maintain company HR policies in line with industry standards and legal requirements.
Maintain employee records and HR databases.
Ensure all relevant parties are informed of the employee’s last day.
Ensure the offboarding process is initiated on the HRIS, including issuing relevant documents or letters as required.
Be available to check and accept employee assets on their final day.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating training as and when required.
Assist with booking venues, refreshments and making any other necessary arrangements for scheduled training.
Responsible for collating all the relevant data for payroll purposes and updating the payroll spreadsheet in time for the monthly payroll deadline and ensuring that the supporting documents are saved in the HR folder.
