Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Human Resources and Administration at Mahotsav Group in Surat. The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for HR management, benefits administration, HRIS, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws.


Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Development

  • Develop and implement HR strategies tailored to the textile industry.
  • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning to meet production and operational needs.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Understanding of Labor and Employment Law
  • Oversee employee performance management, training, and development programs.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and industry regulations.


Administration Management

  • Supervise the administration of all company facilities, including factories, offices, and warehouses.
  • Oversee procurement and maintenance of office and factory equipment.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety standards in the textile sector.
  • Monitor and manage budgets related to administrative operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for services such as logistics, maintenance, and security.
  • Organize and oversee company-wide meetings, events, and employee engagement activities.


Leadership and Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with senior management to align HR and administrative policies with business goals.
  • Lead a team of HR and administrative staff, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Analyze HR and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement in processes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for escalations related to HR and administration.


Operational Oversight

  • Manage attendance, payroll processing, and employee benefits administration.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments, including production, sales, and logistics.
  • Implement and maintain robust record-keeping and reporting systems.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR and Administrative Head in the textile or manufacturing industry.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, and safety regulations relevant to the textile sector.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR and ERP software and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience managing large-scale operations in the textile or apparel industry.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes in manufacturing.
