:

HR Manager/Generalist

Key Responsibilities

:1.

Talent Acquisition

:
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment

    : Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions across the company (from tech, logistics, marketing, customer service, and warehouse roles).
  • Job Posting & Sourcing

    : Create compelling job descriptions and manage postings on job boards, social media, and internal platforms.
  • Screening & Interviewing

    : Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with department heads to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Onboarding

    : Develop and manage an effective onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they feel supported and integrated into the company culture.
2.

Employee Relations

:
  • Conflict Resolution

    : Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, helping to resolve conflicts, complaints, and issues in a professional manner.
  • Employee Engagement

    : Implement initiatives to keep employees engaged, motivated, and satisfied with their work environment.
  • Performance Management

    : Support managers with regular performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development.
3.

Training and Development

:
  • Learning & Development Programs

    : Design and implement training programs for employees at all levels, focusing on skills development, leadership training, and eCommerce industry trends.
  • Career Development

    : Partner with department leaders to identify career growth opportunities and facilitate internal mobility.
  • Compliance Training

    : Ensure employees are up to date with relevant legal and industry certifications, including data protection, anti-harassment, etc.

Compensation & Benefits

:
  • Salary and Benefits Administration

    : Ensure compensation packages are competitive with market standards, including salary, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Payroll Support

    : Collaborate with finance for timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Employee Benefits

    : Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.), ensuring employees understand their options.
5.

Compliance & Legal

:
  • HR Compliance

    : Ensure the company is in compliance with labor laws and industry-specific regulations, including worker rights, data privacy laws, and health and safety standards.
  • Documentation

    : Maintain employee records, ensuring all relevant legal documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Policy Creation

    : Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company values and industry best practices.
6.

HR Analytics & Reporting

:
  • Data Analysis

    : Utilize HR software to generate reports on key HR metrics such as turnover, employee satisfaction, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Employee Retention

    : Analyze exit interview data and identify trends to help improve retention strategies.
  • Organizational Effectiveness

    : Conduct surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews to gauge employee satisfaction and address areas for improvement.

  • Foster Positive Culture

    : Contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and innovative workplace culture that aligns with the company’s mission and values.
  • Wellbeing Initiatives

    : Promote initiatives focused on employee wellbeing, including mental health support, work-life balance, and stress management programs.
  • Diversity & Inclusion

    : Champion diversity and inclusion within the workplace, ensuring fair treatment for all employees.

Qualifications

:
  • Bachelor's Degree

    in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Proven experience

    as an HR professional (2-3 years), preferably in the eCommerce, retail, or technology industries.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce

    : Familiarity with the operational demands and the fast-paced environment of eCommerce businesses.
  • Experience with HR Software

    : Proficient in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) tools such as Workday, BambooHR, or similar.
  • Strong interpersonal skills

    : Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, provide counsel, and address sensitive issues.
  • Excellent communication skills

    (verbal and written).
  • Problem-solving mindset

    with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Data-driven

    with the ability to analyze HR metrics and make informed decisions.
  • Multitasking abilities

    in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Skills

:
  • Familiarity with

    eCommerce platforms

    (Amazon,flipkart,Shopify, Magento, etc.) and understanding of the operational flow of online businesses.
  • Experience in managing

    remote teams

    or hybrid work environments.
  • Change management

    experience, particularly during growth phases or restructuring.
  • Understanding of

    global HR standards

    if the company operates in multiple countries or regions.
