About the Role

At BCCL, we’re looking for a passionate Product Head to lead the charge on shaping the future of our Print products. You’ll be the driving force behind the product vision and strategy, working closely with diverse teams across Editorial, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and more to turn bold ideas into real business impact.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Own the big picture-define and communicate a compelling product vision that inspires your team and aligns with BCCL’s goals.
  • Leadership role with strategic, operational, and innovation responsibility, leveraging AI/ML to enhance content creation
  • Collaborate as a key leader within the product management team, helping steer our overall strategy for both print and digital offerings.
  • Partner deeply with Editorial, Brand, Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Application Development to ensure we build products that truly resonate with our users and deliver business success.
  • Manage the internal applications for the Editorial Systems including CMS, Digital Assets Management, ePaper, Websites, Social campaigns & Innovations
  • Think and build new ideas and innovations for the Print business to drive more engagement from a revenue and brand point of view.
  • Lead the creation and execution of product strategies, roadmaps, and detailed requirements, working hand-in-hand with product managers, engineers, designers, and senior leaders.
  • Dive into market research and customer insights to understand what users need and want, while keeping a close eye on competitors and industry trends.
  • Prioritise features thoughtfully, balancing customer delight with business goals.
  • Measure how our products are doing, gather feedback, and continuously refine our approach.
  • Present your ideas clearly and confidently to stakeholders at all levels, showing the value our products bring.


What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who’s been around the product block and knows how to build and lead teams that create meaningful, successful products. More importantly, you care deeply about your users and the impact your products make.


You should have:

  • 12 to 17 years of experience building products, with at least 4 to 6 years in a media company (Print or Digital).
  • A solid technical background - ideally a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. An MBA from a top business school is a plus but not a dealbreaker if you have the right experience.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers to build products used by millions.
  • The ability to make smart decisions, even when things are uncertain or ambiguous.
  • Strong data-driven instincts - you know how to use insights and metrics to guide your roadmap and product choices.
  • Excellent communication skills - you’re comfortable collaborating with teams spread across different locations and levels of seniority.
  • A self-starter mindset who’s always eager to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
  • Experience with agile development practices in a large team environment is a bonus.
