Head of Product

The candidate will be responsible for curating, designing, development and management of the firms investment products across asset classes. This role requires deep expertise in wealth management, legacy planning, investment strategies, product structures to ensure that the firm is able to innovate & curate industry first products for its customers. The individual will work closely with the senior leadership team, relationship managers, and third parties to build the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Development:

• Define and lead the investment product strategy across mutual funds, alternatives, structured products. This would be across asset classes – equity, fixed income, commodities real estate etc.
• Identify market trends, client needs and competitive landscape to build differentiated offerings.
• Oversee end to end product lifecycle including conceptualization, structuring, approvals, launch and ongoing review.

Portfolio & Investment management:

• Collaborate with the CIO and investment ream to align product offerings with house views and asset allocation frameworks
• Monitor product performance, risk metrics and ensure alignment of firm and client objectives, regulatory requirements with the products.
• Provide insights into client portfolios to optimize returns. Work with analytics team to design at a universe of 1 for optimizing at each client level.

Distribution:

• Partner with sales and relationship teams to equip them with product knowledge & pitch materials
• Drive adoption of open architecture & proprietary products of the firm

Governance:

• Ensure products meet all compliance and internal risk standards.
• Establish robust product & governance frameworks. Lead due diligence on onboarding and on a regular basis with all product partners and platforms.
