Bellatrix Aerospace is a fast-growing space-tech company developing advanced in-space propulsion systems and next-generation satellite technologies. Our products are flight-proven on ISRO missions and increasingly adopted by leading global space companies.

As we scale production and expand global operations, we are building the financial backbone required to support capital-efficient growth, manufacturing scale-up, and long-term sustainability. We are seeking a strategic finance leader to help shape this next phase.

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄

The Head of Finance will act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, playing a central role in financial planning, production-scale economics, cost optimisation, fundraising, and operational decision-making.

This role is purely strategic in nature it does not include accounting, statutory compliance, or audit responsibilities, which are managed separately. The focus is on strategic finance, business partnering, and enabling Bellatrix’s scale-up from prototypes to high-volume production and global operations.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 & 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting across all business units.

• Build multi-year financial models aligned with the product roadmap, production scale-up plans, and commercial strategy.

• Drive capital allocation discipline, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.

• Develop real-time dashboards providing visibility into cash burn, margins, and key operational KPIs.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲-𝗨𝗽 & 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴

• Partner closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production teams to model cost structures for propulsion products and subsystems.

• Own BOM costing, unit economics, and cost-down initiatives as manufacturing transitions from prototypes to production batches.

• Evaluate make-vs-buy decisions, production capacity planning, and capex justifications.

• Implement cost-control frameworks that enable scalability without compromising quality or reliability.

𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• Lead preparation of investor materials, financial models, and data rooms for equity, debt, and strategic fundraising.

• Work closely with founders on negotiations, due diligence, and deal structuring.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing investors, providing timely and transparent updates on financial and operational performance.

𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

• Serve as a financial advisor to leadership on pricing strategy, contract structuring, go-to-market planning, and long-term growth decisions.

• Support commercial teams on bid economics, pricing models, payment terms, and milestone-based proposals.

• Evaluate new ventures, international expansion initiatives, and large procurement commitments through rigorous financial analysis.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀

• Implement financial planning tools, cost-tracking mechanisms, and project-based budgeting frameworks.

• Collaborate with operations teams on ERP integration, inventory management metrics, and production costing workflows.

• Drive financial discipline across the organisation through clear processes, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

• 6–10 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or manufacturing finance.

• Background in deep-tech, aerospace, hardware, electronics, automotive, precision manufacturing, or similar industries.

• Strong understanding of BOM costing, manufacturing economics, and production scale-up dynamics.

• Proven experience in fundraising, investor communication, and advanced financial modelling.

• Exceptional analytical capability with expertise in scenario planning and financial decision support.

• Engineering or finance graduate; CA or MBA or CFA is a plus (not mandatory with strong experience).
