Job Summary: The Google & Meta Ads Specialist at The Marketplace Guru is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram). This role involves a strategic balance of analytical thinking, creative ad development, and ongoing optimization to achieve client goals. The ideal candidate will drive measurable growth through data-driven decisions, innovative campaign structures, and continuous performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Develop, manage, and optimize ad campaigns across Google (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping) and Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
- Perform keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance and make real-time optimizations to improve ROI and reduce CPA.
- Set up conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and UTM parameters to ensure accurate reporting.
- Conduct A/B testing for ad creatives, targeting options, and bidding strategies to improve results.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed client KPIs.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Create weekly and monthly reports outlining key metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, Conversion Rate).
- Present campaign insights, performance trends, and improvement recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with creative and analytics teams to ensure ad visuals and messaging align with brand tone and audience intent.
- Stay updated on the latest advertising trends, algorithm updates, and platform best practices.
Qualifications (Please Apply Only If You Meet These Requirements)
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing - Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
- Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
- Campaign setup for Search, Display, Video, Shopping, and App campaigns.
- Conversion tracking, event setup, and remarketing strategy execution.
- Expertise in G Suite / Google Sheets with 55+ WPM (Typing Speed).
- Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred):
- Google Ads Search Certification (mandatory)
- Google Ads Display / Video Certification (preferred)
- Meta Certified Media Buying Professional (preferred)
- Google Analytics Certification (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-channel ad campaigns for eCommerce or service-based brands.
- Proven track record in scaling ad performance, improving ROAS, and optimizing media spend.
- Experience with tools such as Google Data Studio, Looker Studio, Canva, or Figma for performance visuals.
- Understanding of landing page optimization and funnel strategies.
Bonus Skills (A Plus For Your Application)
- Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest for keyword research.
- Knowledge of automation scripts or rules within Google Ads.
- Understanding of remarketing, dynamic ads, and full-funnel marketing strategy.
- Familiarity with Slack and Asana for internal communication and project management.
