Job Title: General Manager Operations (Trading Company) Department: Operations & Management Location: Panchkula Vacancy: 01 Salary : 50,000 To 1,00,000 Per Month Experience : Required: Minimum 20 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering (MBA preferred) Reporting To: Board of Directors / Managing Director Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our organization as General Manager Operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Company Operations with at least 20 years of progressive leadership experience. This role demands strategic vision, operational excellence, and a results-driven approach to achieve the company’s growth and profitability goals. Key Responsibilities: ·        Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives. ·        Lead and monitor senior management teams to ensure operational efficiency and accountability. ·        Lead day-to-day & streamline operations of the company. ·        Coordinate across teams—Marketing, Sales, Commercial, HR and Finance—to ensure smooth delivery. ·        Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, government agencies, and industry partners. ·        Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. ·        Monitor budgets, and resource allocation. ·        Identify opportunities to expand services, improve margins, and optimize costs. ·        Analyze performance data to create growth-oriented action plans. ·        Monitor KPIs such as delivery time, client satisfaction score, and resource efficiency. ·        Conduct regular reviews to ensure quality standards are maintained. ·        Implement corrective measures to improve performance and reduce errors. ·        Resolve client issues and escalate challenges when needed. Required Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills. In-depth technical knowledge of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication systems. Proven experience in managing large-scale industrial or EPC projects. Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities. Sound financial acumen and business analytics capability. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple operations effectively. Preferred Background: Experience in manufacturing, EPC, or power/electrical equipment industries. Exposure to government tenders, PSU projects, and large industrial clients. Demonstrated success in scaling operations and achieving business growth targets. Experience handling a workforce of 100+ employees across departments.
