General Manager - Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the overall company objectives. This includes identifying new market opportunities, setting sales targets, and creating action plans to achieve them.
• Business Development Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team members have the resources and support they need to succeed.
• Relationship Building and Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. This includes representing the company at industry events and networking functions.
• Market Analysis and Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential growth areas and inform strategic decision-making.
• Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. This includes identifying leads, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development, analyse performance data, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Budget Management: Manage the business development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with business development activities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Innovation and Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve business development processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, data analytics tools, project management platforms, market research tools, and presentation software.
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Experience Level: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, adaptability, and negotiation skills.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, competitor landscape, and regulatory requirements.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
