Position: Food & Beverage Manager (F&B Manager)

Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: General Manager / Operations Head Location: Espire Hospitality Properties

Job Purpose

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all Food & Beverage operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and adherence to Espire Hospitality’s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

• Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining.
• Ensure consistently high standards of service, food quality, and presentation.
• Personally interact with guests to obtain feedback and resolve complaints effectively.
• Implement and monitor Espire Hospitality SOPs across all outlets.

Financial & Revenue Management

• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Monitor food & beverage cost, wastage, and inventory to achieve targeted margins.
• Drive revenue through upselling, promotions, menu engineering, and outlet strategies.
• Analyze P&L statements and take corrective actions where required.

People Management & Training

• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate F&B team members.
• Build a high-performing, guest-focused service culture.
• Conduct regular training on service standards, hygiene, and upselling techniques.
• Ensure discipline, grooming, and professional conduct of the team.

Menu Planning & Quality Control

• Coordinate with Executive Chef for menu planning, pricing, and engineering.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and local guest preferences.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation consistency.

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to FSSAI, HACCP, fire safety, and statutory regulations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all F&B areas.
• Ensure audits, licenses, and documentation are up to date.

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with Sales, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Finance teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and MIS reports.
• Participate in management meetings and contribute to overall hotel performance.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
• Experience: 8–12 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Industry: Hotel / Resort / Hospitality background mandatory.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent guest handling and communication abilities.
• Sound knowledge of F&B operations, cost control, and menu engineering.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple outlets.

Pay: ₹12,680.65 - ₹60,000.00 per month
